The Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) hosted Mr. Mike Hankey, U.S. Consul General in Mumbai, to discuss enhancing trade and investment between the U.S. and Gujarat. During the meeting, Mr. Hankey exchanged insights with FGI members on the region’s business landscape, shared experiences, and addressed potential trade barriers. He introduced the “SelectUSA Program” and highlighted the 2024 SelectUSA Investment Summit, focused on promoting foreign investment in the U.S.
The session, attended by FGI leaders including President Mr. Tarak Patel and Deputy Secretary General Ms. Priyanka Verma, strengthened collaboration and set the foundation for future trade opportunities.
