CSR Initiative Supporting Local Schools

As part of its enduring commitment to social responsibility, the Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) marked its 106th Establishment Day with a heartfelt gesture towards community welfare. In line with its CSR objectives, FGI regularly donated school shoes, notebooks, and school bags to students at Katoliya Primary School and Khanpur Primary School, both located in the vicinity of FGI’s operations.

This initiative reflects FGI’s deep-rooted dedication to supporting education and uplifting underprivileged students in the communities that have fostered its growth. By providing essential school supplies, FGI not only enhances the learning experience but also reaffirms its role as a responsible and compassionate corporate citizen.

Anganwadi and After school support program

FGI donated to the Federation Samaj Kalyan Trust and Baroda Citizen Council for projects, which focuses on After School Support and the Anganwadi Adoption Program. This initiative aims to provide essential educational resources and support for children in need, enhancing their learning experiences outside of regular school hours.

By contributing to these programs, FGI reaffirms its commitment to community development and the welfare of vulnerable populations. The After School Support program ensures that children receive the guidance and assistance they require to succeed academically, while the Aanganwadi Adoption Program fosters early childhood development and care.

This collaboration reflects FGI’s dedication to empowering the next generation and promoting a brighter future for all children in our community. We are proud to play a role in these important initiatives and look forward to their positive impact.

FGI’s Landmark Contribution to MS University’s Growth

The Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) has long been a driving force behind educational and societal advancement. As part of its robust Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, FGI made a landmark contribution of Rs. 95 lakhs to the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. This substantial funding played a crucial role in the establishment of two significant academic departments: the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Textile Technology within the Faculty of Technology.

By facilitating the creation of these departments, FGI has not only contributed to the academic infrastructure of one of Gujarat’s leading universities but also ensured the availability of high-quality education and research opportunities in two critical fields—medicine and textile technology. This initiative reflects FGI’s commitment to fostering innovation, enhancing industrial expertise, and nurturing future leaders who will drive progress in these sectors. Through this visionary act of philanthropy, FGI continues to elevate the standards of education and actively contribute to the development of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce for the region and beyond.
