Response to Petition for Tariff Proposals for 2024-25

FGI submitted responses to MGVCL, GETCO, and GSECL’s tariff petitions for FY 2024-25, aiming to protect Gujarat industries’ interests. Public hearings are scheduled for 4th March (GSECL, GETCO, SLDC, etc.) and 14th March (DGVCL, MGVCL, PGVCL, UGVCL).

Live Viewing of Interim Union Budget 2024-25

FGI hosted a live viewing of the Interim Union Budget 2024-25, attended by FGI members and media representatives. The budget focused on India’s development towards becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047, with an emphasis on MSME growth through finance, technology, and training. The event had 30 FGI members and 40 media attendees, receiving broad media coverage.

A workshop on influencing skills attracted 47 delegates. Trainer Ms. Hiral Matalia from MPower Training Solutions led participants through psychometric self-assessments and techniques for effective workplace influence. The workshop focused on adapting influencing styles to various situations and was well appreciated by all attendees.

Workshop on ESG Capacity Building for Large Companies and MSMEs

FGI organized a full-day workshop on ESG practices, with 20 delegates from 13 companies participating. Experts Mr. Shankar Venkateswaran and Ms. Rita Roy Choudhury from ECube Investment Advisors guided participants through the essentials of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), covering sustainability drivers and independent standards. The session received high praise for its depth and clarity.
