The Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI), founded in 1918, is a centenary young premier Chamber of Commerce (Industries Association) in India, with a proud and illustrious track record of 106 glorious years. We have been actively involved in the progress of the industrial sector of Gujarat and India and have been regularly working for the interest of our member industries which include MSMEs, Large and Multinational companies from diverse sectors of industries. The FGI Business Centre located in Vadodara houses a state-of-the-art auditorium, exhibition hall, board rooms, and lush green lawns. SFGI is also authorized by the DGFT to issue Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin and attest Export Documents since 1964.
FGI AWARDS – A Journey of Recognizing Par Excellence
The prestigious FGI Awards for Excellence were instituted during FGI’s Platinum Jubilee Year – 1993 with the objective to honor and recognize excellence in Industries, individuals, NGOs, and institutions located in the State of Gujarat. FGI Awards today have become a brand amongst industrial & social circles and the people of Gujarat. Over the years the FGI Awards for Excellence have been presented by eminent dignitaries such as Shri Narendra Modi, late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, late Dr. I.G. Patel, Shri Suresh Prabhu, late Shri Manohar Parrikar, Smt. Maneka Gandhi.
The 18th FGI Awards for Excellence Presentation Ceremony was held on Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 at FGI Business Centre, Vadodara. The trophies and certificates of merit were presented to the Award winners by the Chief Guest, Shri Suresh Prabhu, Former Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Railways, Commerce & Industry
