Project Overview:

The Program After School Support and Inclusive education and digital literacy with the vision to promote holistic development among underprivileged school going children. Thus, it has been catering to students belonging to poor socio-economic background, imparting them education and has enabled to shape, the personality of students. The program has reached out to thousands of families enabling many deserving students to unfold their talent, achieve their goal. The program has helped to develop responsible student, parenthood alliance, functioning as a catalyst.
We can utilize these classroom settings more by welcoming children, adolescence and youth in the group. This will boost confidence in them and their parents and they will feel empowered. Also, when these children will go out for work, they will be independent and will also be a help to their family. We can teach the children & youth about using the online platforms for study, help them with technologies used for study.

Project Aim:

To empower the children along with youth and adolescence of rural areas by providing education, soft skill training as well as basic computer literacy.

Project Objectives:

  • To provide education to the underprivileged children to support their holistic development.
  • To provide subject wise knowledge to 1st to 10th STD students enabled education facilities.
  • To facilitate learning through web enabled technologies to the disadvantaged communities, due to lack of institutions in the remote and rural areas.
  • To ensure that each student get the basic education which helps to improve academic achievements.
  • To build confidence and enable access to appropriate information available on the internet, which would promote overall well-being and competence in young people for facing the realities of life.
  • To make the students aware of their role as responsible citizens and see how they can contribute to the development of their overall community.

During the one-year period F.Y 2024-2025 iimplemented a comprehensive Program After School Support program involves integrating key components to enhance student well-being and academic success. This includes providing foundational and remedial education, incorporating technology-based learning platforms, ensuring regular health check-ups and nutrition services, offering counselling for mental health, engaging students in extracurricular activities, conducting teacher training, facilitating parental involvement, organizing science exhibitions, and administering regular assessments. Such an integrated approach fosters a supportive and effective learning environment.
In March 2025, each PASS (Program After School Support) class actively participated in a Science Exhibition by creating and presenting two working science models. This initiative provided students with a valuable opportunity to apply their scientific knowledge practically and to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills. Engaging in such hands-on activities not only reinforced their understanding of scientific concepts but also boosted their confidence in presenting ideas, fostering a deeper interest in the sciences.

Conclusion:

The Program After School Support (PASS) Project is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to the holistic development of underprivileged students. It offers structured academic assistance, including foundation, bridge, and remedial courses, supplemented by technology-based learning platforms to enhance educational outcomes. Regular assessments, such as weekly tests, are conducted to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
In addition to academic support, PASS emphasizes health and well-being by providing nutritious meals and regular health check-ups.
